Really good alternative to the original Japanese Binchotan: Konro Grill Maitiew Binchotan charcoal. This Maitiew Binchotan charcoal gives off a subtle and refined flavour. Maitiew is a very hard wood from Vietnam. The box contains 10 kilos. This is a very good alternation to the much more expensive, Japanese charcoal. Has a very long burn time and reaches a very high heat. Perfect for konro grilling.

Just be careful with contact heat on the underside. To prevent burning marks on your wooden table, we recommend this wooden platform underneath. If this konro grill is placed on a stainless steel top, a plateau is not necessary.
