This is what makes Kasai Grills unique! If you order a set of Kasai Medium spare tiles, you can easily replace them yourself. The tiles are made of a natural mineral called "vermiculite." This material goes through a process called exfoliation. This is how a Kasai tile becomes extremely heat resistant.

If your Kasai sidewalls are worn out, you can throw the old ones in with your vegetable, fruit and garden waste. Vermiculite is 100 percent compostable.
