Do you love the fragrant Asian flavors of "china five spice"? Then you really must try this rub, because the base of this rub are the world-famous five spices: anise, pepper, fennel, cinnamon and cloves. Added to that is brown caster sugar, a touch of lemongrass, smoked paprika and a little salt.

The Fire Station rubs are low in salt content however salt, in this rub, is a very useful counterpart to the sweet and spicy notes. Really tasty, special and something different! This rub goes very well with pork, chicken, turkey and duck because sweet/salty flavors are good friends of these meats.
